The Hallway House was presented with the challenge of incorporating 3 4-bedroom units into a single cohesive, tropical envelope. This family house has 12 bedrooms but all receive ample natural light, ventilation and connectivity to the rest of the family. Connectivity amongst the 3 families was achieved through a cantilevered exterior hallway that leads to their respective 2nd floor family rooms. It encourages convergence and chance encounters while shading the living areas within. 3rd floor pocket gardens on the other hand provide a more intimate outdoor space.
