Negotiating with the slope. A mix of split level, elevated and cantilevered volumes that balance appropriateness, connectivity with the natural landscape and drama. A seemingly private frontage opens up to the uninterrupted views of nature at the rear. The structure articulates with its natural landscape in 3 levels; tree-top, the uninterrupted midplane and ground level.

#TAYOtips. How do you maximize vistas within your home? Keep furniture low and avoid elements hanging from the ceiling so that you eye level views are undisrupted. It also helps to have to have a cohesive material palette to really put focus on the vistas, almost like a large picture frame on one side of the space.
